A very Eco-Friendly Giveaway

Earth DayImage by AlicePopkorn via Flickr
Earth Day 2011's theme is "A Billion Acts of Green."  I don't know a billion people, but I know at least 100, and I'd like to see them all on True North Yoga's Facebook page sharing how they care for the Earth.

Between now and Earth Day, April 22nd, go to True North Yoga's Facebook page, "like" us, and post on our wall something you do for the environment.  It could be something that reduces your carbon footprint, reusing or recycling to reduce what goes in landfills, supporting a company that makes a sustainable product, or anything else that shows you love the Earth.

To say "thank you" for your environmental action, on April 23rd one post will be chosen at random and that person will receive:

3/16" thick, made of natural,
sustainable rubber
winner will have a choice of
available colors

AND

a Klean Kanteen Reflect water bottle
completely plastic and paint-free
stainless steel, bamboo cap
available for the first time in mid-April

so you can love the Earth while you practice yoga!

I've been practicing on a Jade Harmony mat for four years and I absolutely love it.  It's got just the right amount of cushion for jumping back in Surya Namaskar, it's solid enough to support Vrksasana, and I never slip, no matter how hot my yoga gets.  Plus it's seriously eco-friendly, and comes in my favorite color: -  green.

I'm excited that Klean Kanteen is taking the stainless steel water bottle to a whole new level with the Reflect, which is due out in mid-April.  They've eliminated all of the plastic and all of the paint and replaced them with silicon, bamboo, and laser etching.  This is going to be an amazing water bottle.

What are you waiting for?  Get to our Facebook page and share the love, and you might be the winner.
